PENGARUH KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DAN IMPLIKASINYA PADA KEPUASAN KARIER (STUDI EMPIRIK PADA KECAMATAN SEMARANG BARAT)

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan karier dan implikasinya terhadap kinerja pegawai. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh pegawai Kecamatan Semarang Barat berjumlah 117 orang. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode sensus. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan karier, semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi maka semakin tinggi kepuasan karier. Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan karier, semakin tinggi disiplin kerja yang diberikan maka semakin tinggi kepuasan karier. Kepuasan karier berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, semakin tinggi kepuasan karier maka semakin baik kinerja pegawai. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, semakin tinggi komitmen organisasi maka semakin baik kinerja pegawai. Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, semakin baik disiplin kerja yang diberikan maka semakin baik kinerja pegawai. Hasil analisis variabel mediasi menggunakan uji Sobel disimpulkan bahwa kepuasan karier dapat memediasi pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepuasan karier dapat memediasi pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai terbukti. Kata kunci: komitmen organisasi, disiplin kerja, kepuasan karier, kinerja pegawai ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study to analyze the effect of organizational commitment and discipline to career satisfaction and its implications for the performance of employees. The study population is all employees of the District of West Semarang totaling 117 people. Samples were taken using census method. Hypothesis testing results indicate the organization's commitment and significant positive effect on career satisfaction, the higher the higher organizational commitment career satisfaction. Labor discipline and significant positive effect on career satisfaction, the higher the working discipline given the higher career satisfaction. Career satisfaction and significant positive effect on employee performance, the higher career satisfaction, the better the performance of employees. Organizational commitment and significant positive effect on employee performance, the higher the better organizational commitment of employee performance. Labor discipline and significant positive effect on employee performance, the better the work discipline given the better performance of employees. The results of the analysis of mediating variables using Sobel test concluded that career satisfaction may mediate the effect of organizational commitment to employee performance.
